Abstract: 

COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE is a business tools that help organizations in the process of strategic management and increasing business performance through enhancing knowledge, internal communications and strategic plans quality. COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE shows the competition positions and make the company to be able to for forecast and develop their markets through analyzing the behavior of the competitions before they are affected by the surroundings their can lead to achieving stable COMPETITIVE advantage. This paper presents a model to assess the effect of COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE and its components on the COMPETITIVE advantage in Isfahan Science and technology Town. Required information are acquired using a questionnaire and collected information are investigated through software LISREL. The results indicate that the use of a COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE leads to achieving COMPETITIVE advantage compared to competitors and ensures the survival of the organization. In other words, planning and focus, collection, analysis and evaluation and dissemination of information strengthen the COMPETITIVE power of the company to get the best position in the market.

Abstract: 

According to theoretical foundation of strategic management, three perspectives have been detected to reach COMPETITIVE advantage. Environmental perspective, organizational capability and resources perspective, and COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE perspective, which combines sights and analysis, of the two former perspectives. Regarding the globalization of world markets, extension of competition domain, comprehensiveness of information systems, and the significance of inter-corporation competencies, this study tends to develop theories concerning COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE and offers a comprehensive model of the components of COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE to achieve COMPETITIVE advantage. The researches made previously have shown three types of INTELLIGENCE: strategic-social INTELLIGENCE, technological INTELLIGENCE, and market INTELLIGENCE to attain COMPETITIVE advantage. However, there has been no study exploring COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE about structural-organizational INTELLIGENCE. To access persistent COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE, informational infrastructures, flexible and efficient linkage, and placement of these features in one strategic framework are necessary. Therefore, this study is to fill this research gap, and proposes a comprehensive model of COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE for the purpose of reaching COMPETITIVE advantage. For this reason, first we have explored research literature and similar models and identified a set of indexes for structural organizational INTELLIGENCE. Second, with use of factor analysis technique, we have reconsidered and classified important indexes in three batches. Then, with the contribution of structural equation modeling technique, we have examined the 8 Iranian Journal of Trade Studies relationships of new element with existing INTELLIGENCE trinity and the synergism INTELLIGENCE quartet to gain COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE and COMPETITIVE advantage, and we have determined with structural-organizational INTELLIGENCE it will be possible to attain COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE, and COMPETITIVE advantage will be more stable.

Abstract: 

Pharmaceutical distribution industry, as one of the most important parts of the drug supply chain, is in an environment where, on the one hand, internal factors and, on the other hand, competition with large multinational corporations has exposed it to various risks and dangers. Investigating the impact of different in-house variables and outsourcing variables helps to increase the efficiency and COMPETITIVE ability of companies active in this industry and helps them gain COMPETITIVE advantage. In order to advance the COMPETITIVE objectives of active distribution organizations, accurate analysis of the business environment by expert and intelligent staff, as well as logical observation of competitors, is one of the most effective and strategic measures. The statistical population of the research includes senior, middle and operational managers of pharmaceutical distribution companies in Tehran, whose number is six hundred and two. According to the Morgan table, the sample size should be 232. Considering the importance and sensitivity of the subject matter of the research, as well as the predictive rate of return of the questionnaires, using a simple random sampling, 382 questionnaires, whose validity and relaibility were approved, were distributed among 371 managers. Regarding the inappropriateness of some questionnaires, 331 questionnaires were finally analyzed. To analyze the data, the modeling of structural equations using LaserL software was used. The results of the research indicate that in the drug distribution companies, information (type of information, the use of information, information resources), creativity and IQ, have a positive role in increasing marketing INTELLIGENCE. They have a positive impact on business INTELLIGENCE as well. Business INTELLIGENCE, with receiving an impact from the moderating variable of competetive INTELLIGENCE, gains competetive advantage in pharmaceutical distribution industry.

Abstract: 

Aims: In recent years, spirituality has been considered by health professionals as one of the existential dimensions of human beings due to their mental health effects. Spiritual INTELLIGENCE is also an important factor affecting mental disorders such as anxiety, aggression and anger.Therefore, the purpose of this study was to predict COMPETITIVE trait anxiety, COMPETITIVE aggression and COMPETITIVE anger based on the spiritual INTELLIGENCE of veterans and disabled athletes.Instrument & Methods: In this descriptive-correlational study in 2016, 80 veteran and disabled athletes from the Arak City, Iran, were selected through available sampling and participated in the study. Demographic characteristics questionnaire, spiritual INTELLIGENCE questionnaire, COMPETITIVE anger and aggression inventory and COMPETITIVE trait anxiety questionnaire. To analyze the collected data, descriptive (mean and percent) and regression statistical tests were used.Findings: There was a significant negative relationship between spiritual INTELLIGENCE and COMPETITIVE anxiety (r=-0.22; p<0.05), and spiritual INTELLIGENCE and COMPETITIVE anger and aggression (r=-0.27; p<0.05). Spiritual INTELLIGENCE could predict 4.9% of the variance of COMPETITIVE anxiety (p=0.048) and 7.0% of the variance of COMPETITIVE anger and aggression (p=0.017).Conclusion: Spiritual INTELLIGENCE can reduce COMPETITIVE anger and anger and COMPETITIVE aggression in athletes with disabilities and veterans.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this article is to investigate the relationship between five attitudes of COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE (warriors, assaults, actives, reactive and sleepers) and COMPETITIVE advantage in hotels of Shiraz. The research is developmental- practical with quantitative approach and was done by use of Structural Equation Modeling. The society of this research were hotels managers of Shiraz in which by use of classified random sampling, 106 of them completed the questionnaire. The relationship between latent and observable variables was determined by confirmatory factor analysis. The results of model Goodness showed that the managers of Shiraz hotels have “warriors” and”assaults” attitudes. Thus, there is a significance relationship between these two attitudes and “cost reduction” and “differentiation” strategies. The findings can help the hotel managers to move toward COMPETITIVE advantage by considering the importance of the above mentioned attitudes. other results shows in paper, also we indicate discussion and managerial conclusions for future studies and intereseted researchers.
